Studio

Approach

Architecture begins with real needs and gives form to the way we live

The studio works across high-end residential, hospitality, and workplace projects, along with selected cultural and public commissions, in Europe and the Middle East.
Space is understood not as pure form, but as the setting for human actions, emotions, and narratives. In each project, architecture is approached as a balance between clarity of structure and depth of experience, where materials, light, and proportion shape atmospheres that remain legible over time.
In the design process, the key references are context, function, perception, memory, light, and proportion. These elements guide decisions in form, space, and detail, so that architecture can remain both clear in its structure and strong in its experiential presence.
The result is work that seeks formal clarity, long-term usability, and lasting meaning. For clients, this means spaces that respond precisely to needs and constraints while preserving a distinct and coherent architectural identity.

International Experience

A practice shaped by leading offices and global clients

The studio builds on over a decade of international experience across Europe and Asia, developed through work in Milan, Hangzhou, and Seoul on luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects, alongside selected commercial and public commissions, often involving prestigious clients and landmark sites.
This trajectory has been shaped by collaborations with leading practices, including Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel in Milan, ONE O ONE srchitects in Seoul, and David Chipperfield Architects in Milan. Over the years, the experience has included projects for clients such as Bvlgari, Mandarin Oriental, Samsung, Hyundai Card, Hyundai Genesis, Jaju, and major development groups including Shimao and China Resources.
Working within diverse cultural and operational contexts has established an approach that combines design sensitivity, technical rigor, and strategic coordination. This allows the studio to move confidently between scales, geographies, and typologies, while maintaining a clear architectural identity and supporting clients through complex processes with consistency and reliability.

Research, Teaching & Cultural Practice

Design informed by theory, academia, and editorial work

The studio maintains a strong dialogue between professional practice, research, and academia. This exchange is seen as essential to keeping architecture open, informed, and critically engaged with contemporary questions of space, culture, and use.
This perspective has been shaped through academic and editorial experience, including teaching Architectural Design at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre and contributing to the establishment of Domus Korea. For the studio, research and teaching are not parallel activities, but part of a broader design culture that strengthens rigor, expands perspective, and directly informs the way projects are developed, especially in sensitive, complex, or historically layered contexts.

Kirea

Kirea is a non-profit cultural organization founded in 2025 designing architectural projects to promote sustainable development.

All Kirea projects are made possible through donations and collective support.
Kirea started from a few minutes of encounter on a road. Today it has become a process that connects people, resources, and places. Because sometimes change does not start from a plan. It starts from an encounter and the decision to build something together.
Our projects are born from encounters between people, places, and knowledge, and aim to foster sustainable development rooted in listening and shared responsibility.
