Boutique Hotel

The project was commissioned by Parisii Collection, a group of hospitality properties in Rome known for offering elegant and comfortable stay experiences. It is located at Via Bocca di Leone 88 and involves the creation of five suites, one of which is interconnected, ensuring both flexibility and functionality within the layout and a space that reflects their vision of understated, refined elegance, translated into a coherent spatial and aesthetic language.
Set within a 16th-century building in the heart of Rome’s historic center, the Boutique Hotel Parisii Bocca di Leone 88 project focuses on the relationship between memory, experience, and the perception of those who inhabit the space. During the renovation works, the discovery of an original hand-decorated 19th-century ceiling became a key element in guiding the design process, particularly influencing the choice of color palette. Five shades—sage, ginger, burgundy, aqua, and light peach—define the identity of the rooms, alternating with neutral tones and black accents in fabrics and surfaces.
Color emerges as a central design element, expressed in the large wooden headboards and echoed in the textured bathroom walls, creating a cohesive dialogue between the different spaces.
The idea of elegance is articulated through principles of timelessness, the absence of ostentation, and a delicate definition of identity through color. In the bathrooms, handcrafted Carrara marble sinks recall the city’s historic fountains, and through their essential and timeless design, they embody a form of luxury that is refined and never excessive.
